I'm over eighteen by fourteen years. I'm not snobbish about fandoms or language or American English or British English or creative expression of any kind because that leaves people feeling badly about their writing. Writing demeaning things or using disrespectful labels on anything or anyone isn't done by me. I've no enthusiasm for the sport of ridicule. I'm here to write, not to be right. Pedantry I neither covet nor condone, and I never conduct. If you must show me where my comma ought to go, I'll show in return my university degrees, which do not qualify or disqualify me from writing fiction well, by the way, but evidence I've earned English language sentence construction competency. Nowadays I only participate in lj's HP fandom; it's so easy to see the art and fic in one place. Honestly, here can be really cool sometimes. | I write in the Harry Potter fandom, attempting to be canon plausible through book seven, and it's mostly The Black Family. Regulus particularly provides opportunities to explore the legendary struggle between good and evil. Love Sirius/Remus, but forewarning that Sirius is part-time a straight wizard here with Rosmerta. Occasionally Tonks and Remus appear. Neither case is heterosexual fig syrup, if that's consoling. Or disappointing. Also, if you're sensitive about which characters you want doing what in fandom, I may not be your best friend. (If I've friended you and you'd prefer I hadn't, let me know.)
